The Glynn County School Systems is looking for a qualified vendor to furnish and install a public address system at two high school softball fields. The contractor will include all necessary materials, installation, training, and miscellaneous supplies for a complete turnkey system at each site. No questions other than written will be accepted. No response other than written will be binding upon the Glynn County School System. Bid Bond (Bond only; certified checks or other forms are not acceptable) shall be required for all competitive sealed bids for construction contracts estimated to be $100,000 or more. The Bid Bond must be in an amount equal to 5% of the Base Bid payable to The Glynn County School System and issued by a Surety authorized to do business in the State of Georgia, in order to guarantee that the Proposer/Bidder will enter into a contract for products and/or related services outlined in this RFP, strictly within the terms and conditions stated in this RFP and in the contract documents, should the contract be awarded to the Proposer. The successful Awarded Proposer may be required to furnish a performance and payment bond equal to 100% of the Contract Price. The Glynn County Board of Education reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to accept other than the low proposal when the interest of the school system can be better served. The Board reserves the right to waive any informalities in, or reject, any or all proposals or any part of a proposal. In the event of equal proposals, preference will be given to the local Proposer. Work is to begin as soon as the project is awarded and be completed/substantially completed on or by August 2, 2024
