Reference Number 0000355533 The Town of West Springfield invites bids from suppliers to furnish and deliver to the West Springfield Water Division, approximately 360,000 pounds of virgin GAC to the West Springfield water treatment facility, at 506 Shaker Road, in Westfield, Massachusetts. The successful bidder must also collect approximately 360,000 pounds of spent GAC, as needed from the West Springfield water treatment facility, at 506 Shaker Road, in Westfield, Massachusetts over a three year period if contract is renewed twice on its anniversary date. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond, a certified check, a treasurer's check or a cashier's check issued by a responsible bank or trust company and made payable to the Town of West Springfield in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total base bid amount. A Payment bond and a performance bond in the amount of 100% of the Contract Price will be required of the Successful Bidder.
