Renovation of a municipal facility in Woodbridge, Connecticut. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
o Erect scaffolding to provide full access to the cupola including the weathervane. o Scrape all loose and flaking paint from all previously painted wood and metal surfaces. o Rework cupola base flashing and siding interface just above the main shingled roof to provide weather-tight assembly. o Rework the flashing and siding/trim at the tower metal roof and lantern portion of the cupola. Replace/install new wood siding and trim as required. o Install a new liquid membrane roofing system on both the upper and lower metal roofs. If required reflash the hatch cover and drain line. o Water test and confirm proper operation of the internal leader pipe. o Repaint the lantern dome and weathervane with high quality "gold" paint. o Repaint all other previously painted surfaces with Safe Encasement Systems primer and finish coat. o Remove scaffolding and clean the work site.
