The Department of General Services (DGS), on behalf of the Bureau of Facilities' Maintenance, Fire Safety Environmental Division (BFM, FSED) is issuing this Invitation for Bids (IFB) in order to procure testing, inspection, repair, and modification services for eleven (11) existing Underground Storage Tanks (UST) located within the Commonwealth's Capitol Complex in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania (Attachment A). Services are required to maintain compliance with the Commonwealth's Department of Environmental Protection (DEP). Of the eleven (11) tanks, there are ten (10) fuel storage tanks that supply fuel for emergency generators, and the fuel island and one (1) Sodium Nitrate (chemical) underground storage tank that supports the water treatment system for the central heating and cooling plant.
