Site work and paving for a road / highway in Reading, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Seal Coat Project will be received by the Borough of St. Lawrence (Borough), Berks County (1855 SY double bituminous seal coat / 18,241 SY of single bituminous seal coat followed by type II slurry). Proposals shall be accompanied by a bid security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the proposal for the project. Proposals shall be effective for 120 days from the date of opening. The successful low bidder will be required to provide a 100% performance bond or certified check and a 100% payment bond or certified check within 20 days of the contract award. Proposals must be made upon the forms furnished by the Borough. The municipality reserves the right to waive any non-material defects or irregularities in the bid and to reject any or all bids or portions thereof. This project is considered maintenance and is not subject to the terms and conditions of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act, and is to be bid as such.
