Description The Virginia Department of Transportation is seeking expressions of interest from engineering consulting firms who wish to be considered to provide safety inspections of highway structures and bridges in the Northern Virginia District. Type of Contract: Limited Services Term Contract Estimated Contract Value: $8,000,000 per term Performance Period: One-year limited services term contract with three (3) optional one-year renewable terms EOI Requirements/Instructions to Offerors can be found in: Expression of Interest Volumes I & II Section DBE/SWaM Goal: The DBE goal for this contract is 9%. The SWaM goal for this contract is 6%. Procurement Officer: Dillon Smith pspo@vdot.virginia.gov Anticipated Procurement Schedule follows*: - RFP Questions due to VDOT no later than 07/02/2024 at 2:00 P.M. - Expression of Interest Due Date and Time 07/12/2024 at 2:00 P.M. - Short List Posted on the VDOT Website 08/05/2024 - Interviews/Technical Presentations 08/21/2024 - Final Consultant Selection 08/27/2024 - Selected Consultant Pre-Award Documents Due 09/12/2024 - Consultant Contract Signed 12/16/2024 The Department reserves the right to adjust the procurement schedule as needed.
