Sidewalks Improvements Project. Question Deadline 06/28/2024 at 3:00 PM ET Questions Due Date Online. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted electronically via PennBid. The Work is generally described as replacement of concrete sidewalk sections at miscellaneous locations totaling approximately 143 five foot square sections. The Contractor must abide by all laws and regulations applicable to locally funded public contracts, including but not limited to equal employment opportunity. Prevailing wages will apply if the contract price exceeds $25,000. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities in the bidding. Bids may be held by the Owner for a period not to exceed 60 days from the date of opening bids for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of bidders, prior to awarding the contract. Estimated Contract Value: $70,000. A certified check or bank draft, payable to the Borough of Edinboro, or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety, in an amount equal to 10% of the total of the Bid shall be submitted with each Bid. The Work will be substantially completed within 90 days of Notice to Proceed and ready for final payment in accordance with paragraph 14.07 of the General Conditions within 120 days of Notice to Proceed.
