Wastewater Treatment Plant Decommissioning The City of Mount Holly will be closing operations of their wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) located at 201 Broome Street in Mount Holly. All wastewater currently being treated at this facility will be pumped across the Catawba River to the Stowe Regional Water Resource Recovery Facility (WRRF) owned by Charlotte Water. The Mount Holly WWTP will be cleaned of all remaining wastewater and sludge, the structures demolished and removed, and the site voids from the process tank removals filled to existing grade. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis, with a deductive alternate bid item as indicated in the Bid Form.
