This contract provides for the reconstruction of 4.64 miles of Road H-SE from 12-SE to SR 262, a two-lane county road in Grant County, WA, and the replacement of an existing county bridge. This project is split into 2 phases, the roadway section and the bridge section. Other work to include planing bituminous pavement, roadway excavation, embankment compaction, crushed surfacing, roadway striping, seeding and fertilizing, painted edge and centerline and other word all in accordance with the attached Contract Plans, these Contract Provisions, and the Standard Specifications. All Bid Proposals Shall Be Accompanied by a Bid Proposal Deposit in Cash, Certified Check, Cashiers Check, or Surety Bond in an Amount Equal to Five Percent (5%) of the Amount of Such Bid Proposal. No Conditional Bid Bond Will Be Accepted. Should the Successful Bidderfail to Enter Into Such Contract and Furnish a Satisfactory Performance Bond Within the Time Stated in the Specifications, the Bid Proposal Deposit Shall Be Forfeited to Grant County.
