Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Roseburg, Oregon. Completed plans call for the construction of a parking garage; for site work for a parking garage; and water / sewer project.
The proposed work generally consists of site preparation, extension of utilities, and construction of a 50 ft. by 120 ft. wood framed vehicle parking building. . All work on this project shall be completed on or before December 31, 2024. Roseburg Urban Sanitary Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to accept the bid deemed in its best interest. Bidders shall state as part of the bid that the provisions of ORS 279C.800 to 279C.870 (Prevailing Wage Rates) shall be complied with. Bidders must also certify as part of the bid that the requirements of ORS 279C.505(2) (Employee Drug Testing Program) shall be complied with. Each bid must contain a statement as to whether the bidder is a resident bidder, as defined in ORS 279A.120. Bidders are not required to be licensed under ORS 468A.720 (Asbestos Abatement). Unless exempt under ORS 279C.800 to 279C.870, the successful bidder must file a $30,000 Public Works Bond with the Construction Contractors Board prior to beginning work on the project, and certify that all sub-contractors have also filed such bond Bids must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, irrevocable letter of credit or Bid Bond in an amount equal to not less than ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid.
