The Contractor shall provide all labor, tools, and materials necessary to complete the following scope of work in the allotted time frame. 1. Police Department Windows: a. All employees working on this project must submit to and pass a background check. b. Measurements given in this document are approximate. Contractor to verify measurements c. Remove existing windows and frames. Dispose of removed materials appropriately. d. Provide window frames, complete with all parts and fastenings required for installation, operation, and securing in place. e. Install frames level and square, anchored securely in place, and in proper relation to flashing and other adjacent construction. f. Ensure weathertight closure around frames and between frame components and subframes. g. Install cladding and flashing around windows as required. h. Window frames shall be 2"x4 1/2 " Manko tubular aluminum frames type 2450 Thermally Broken System or equivalent. Color shall be Clear Anodized Aluminum finish. City of Hastings is accepting bids for the replacement of the Hastings Police Department Building windows, located at 317 S Burlington Avenue in Hastings, Nebraska. The bidder is highly encouraged to visit the site prior to submitting a bid. The Bidder shall inform himself of all conditions and factors which would affect the execution of the work. No claims for financial compensation or time extension, based on the lack of such prior information (or its effect on the cost of the work) will be permitted by the Owner. We, the undersigned, being familiar with all parts of these documents, being Notice to Bidders, Bid Proposal Price Sheets, Contract Document Forms, Plans and Specifications, Affidavit, Material List, and all other parts of this document, do herein submit our proposal to furnish, install, and perform all tasks required to complete said project area(s) for the total costs. City of Hastings may at its own discretion delete any project area and / or component prior to award of contract. City of Hastings has the right to award each bid section individually. If awarded individually, Contractors to coordinate as required. In submitting this proposal, it is further understood that the City of Hastings reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and may waive any informalities and may accept the proposal which best suits its needs. It is further understood that this proposal may not be withdrawn for a period of sixty days (60) days after bids are opened.
