The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and includes but is not limited to the following: 1. Full reconstruction of existing parking lot area including but not limited to demolition work, clearing, temporary soil erosion and sediment control measures, disposal of existing asphalt, concrete curbing, placement of asphalt courses, placement of permeable pavers, saw cutting, selective sub-base repair, stripping, site signage, 4" of sidewalk replacement, 4" of walkway, bike rack area, and vegetated infiltration basin area. 2. Miscellaneous utility improvements including but not limited to the underdrainage of the permeable pavers surface, replacement and installation of storm sewer, installation of doghouse manhole, installation of electric conduits and light poles, backfilling, compaction, surface restoration and an outlet control structure in the vegetated infiltration basin area, etc Parking Lot Conversion for Rye Neck High School/Middle School All technical questions regarding the bid should be directed to LAN (Attention Mr. Elio Qorri) in writing by email to elio.qorri@lanassociates.com. Each bid must be accompanied by bid security in the form of a certified check made payable to the Rye Neck Union Free School District or by a Bid Bond in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the bid. Bidders may not withdraw their respective bids for a period of forty-five (45) days after the bid opening date, unless otherwise authorized by law. To the fullest extent allowed by law, the District further reserves the right to reject bids that contain conditions, omissions, exceptions or modifications, or in its sole discretion to waive any irregularities in the bids, or to reject any or all bids or to accept any bid which in the opinion of the District is in its best interest.
