Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Albany, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The work includes providing all labor, materials, machinery, tools, equipment and other means of construction necessary and incidental to the completion of the work shown on the plans and described in these specifications including, but not necessarily limited to the following: Cold milling of existing asphalt pavement Resurfacing with hot mix asphalt Sidewalk reconstruction Replacement of granite curbing Reconstruction of existing ADA curb ramps Striping and sign installation Installation of drainage structures and pipe Tree removal and replacement. Maintenance and protection of traffic. All related site restoration work. This is a unit price bid as described in the Instructions to Bidders. No Bidder may withdraw his bid within forty five (45) calendar days after the actual date of the opening thereof. A Bid must be accompanied by Bid security made payable to OWNER in an amount of 5% of Bidder's maximum Bid price and in the form of a certified or bank check or a Bid Bond [on the form attached] issued by a surety meeting the requirements of paragraphs 5.01 and 5.02 of the General Conditions. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid security in the amount of five percent of the base bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. If a bid deposit is not submitted with the bid, the bid may be deemed incomplete and may not be considered. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish construction performance and payment bonds in the full amount of the contract price. Bids may be submitted by mail or other delivery system; however, it shall be the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure the bid is delivered by the date and time as specified above. The Board of Contract and Supply reserves the right to reject any bid delivered after the date and time specified above. All work shall be substantially completed by September 15, 2024. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive any and all informalities and the right to disregard all nonconforming, non-responsive or Conditional Bids.
