The City of Port Arthur (City) intends to select a pool of qualified professional engineering firm(s) to provide engineering services including design, project inspection and management for the City's Water Utilities Engineering Projects. The City is soliciting Request for Qualifications (RFQ) from those interested in providing these services to assist in the development of water and wastewater improvements to selected City projects. Provide engineering services for the Water and Wastewater infrastructure portion of the City projects, including, but not limited to: o Water and wastewater treatment and pumping facility design and rehabilitation o System modeling o WWTP solids treatment, handling, and disposal options o Hydraulic analysis o Design sewer line replacements o Conduct process and treatability studies o Assess the impact of emerging contaminants in source waters on water and wastewater treatment plant compliance and public health o Review of water and sewer fees, including volume, system development fees, impact fees, and pretreatment fees o Improvements to potable water infrastructure o Inspection, design, replacement of water lines o Manage and treat stormwater or subsurface drainage water o Land survey o Grants application for Water Utilities improvements.
