Site work and paving for a road / highway in New Washington, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

Each bidder is required to furnish with its proposal, a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid security furnished in Bond form, shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. Each proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested therein. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experiences on projects of similar size and complexity. The owner intends and requires that this project be completed no later than May 30, 2025. All contractors and subcontractors involved with the project will, to the extent practicable use Ohio products, materials, services, and labor in the implementation of their project. Additionally, contract compliance with the equal opportunity requirements of Ohio Administrative Code Chapter 123, the Governor's Executive Order of 1972, and the Governor's Executive Order 84-9 shall be required. Contractor is to specify the unit price of each item bid. All materials supplied and work done shall be in accordance with the Current State of Ohio, Department of Transportation Construction and Material Specifications or as otherwise specified. Should the Bidder desire to submit a computerized bid form, he may do so provided the format is pre-approved by the Engineer. The Bidder shall be solely responsible for transferring bid items and quantities to his computerized form. Errors resulting from improper transfer of information to the computerized form may result in the rejection of the Bid. Only one copy of the bid form is required. Sealed bids will be publicly opened on the above date, read aloud and an award made at the time to which considerations of said bids may be duly adjourned, as provided by law. The bidder to whom the contract is awarded will be required to furnish a surety bond acceptable to the Village of New Washington in the sum of 100% of the amount of the contract, as a guarantee to the faithful performance and completion of the work called for in the Plans and Specifications. The Village of New Washington is an equal opportunity community and encourages minority and women owned businesses to compete for all contracts offered by the Village. The minimum wage paid to all laborers employed by this contract shall be in accordance with the schedule of prevailing hourly wage rates in Crawford County as ascertained and determined by the Ohio Department of Commerce, Wage and Hour Division in accordance with Sections 4115.03 thru 4115.07 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bids shall be submitted in sealed envelopes clearly marked "Village of New Washington -OPWC FY2025 Catch Basin Replacements" and bids must be signed by all parties interested in the contract. The Board of Control reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids, to waive any informalities in any bid, and accept any bid which is deemed most favorable to the Village of New Washington.
