Renovation of a military facility in Blackstone, Virginia. Working plans call for the renovation of a military facility.

The general work description of the project can be generally described as: Multi discipline construction work to repair and renovate 8 barracks facilities within the 1600 area block of Fort Barfoot. Work will consist of, but is not limited to, HVAC removal and replacement, plumbing repair and replacement, electrical repair and replacement, plumbing repair and replacement, painting, carpentry work to consist of new construction and sustainment repair of doors, walls, flooring, ceiling, etc.... Point of Contact is Scott Newcomb - 434-292-9162 ( c ) Edward.s.newcomb.nfg@army.mil Time for Completion is 240 calendar days to Substantial completion. Final Completion shall be within 30 days after the date of Substantial completion. A Commonwealth of Virginia Standard Performance Bond (DGS-30-084, form CO-10) and a Commonwealth of Virginia Standard Labor and Material Payment Bond (DGS-30-088, form CO-10.1) WILL be required regardless of the bid amount. A Bid Bond is required. Procedures for submitting a bid, claiming an error, withdrawal of bids and other pertinent information are contained in the Instructions to Bidders, which is part of the Invitation for Bids. Withdrawal due to error in bid shall be permitted in accord with Section 9 of the Instructions to Bidders and 2.2-4330, Code of Virginia. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
