Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Harrison Township, Missouri. Completed plans call for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; and for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel.
Demolition of an existing bridge and the construction of a new 169-foot, 2-span prestressed concrete NU girder bridge, approach roadway work, and any other incidental work in accordance with plans and specifications. The project is located on Yater Road in Section 21, Township 34 N, Range 33 W, Vernon County, Missouri over Drywood Creek. All bidders must be on MoDOTs Qualified Contractor List per Section 102.2 of the current version of the Missouri Standard Specifications for Highway Construction. The contractor questionnaire must be on file 7 days prior to bid opening. A certified cashiers check or a bid bond in the amount of 5% shall be submitted with each proposal. The Christian County Commission reserves the right to reject any or all bids. The DBE Goal for this project is 0%. The project will be awarded to the lowest, responsive, responsible bidder. No 2nd tier subcontracting will be allowed on this project. MODOT - Yater Road Bridge Replacement Question Deadline 07/10/2024 The contractor questionnaire must be on file 7 days prior to bid opening. All questions concerning the bid document preparation can be directed to the Project Manager at Great River Engineering at 417-886-7171. Project specific questions can be directed to the Design Professional of record at Great River Engineering.
