Renovation of a parking garage in South Lake Tahoe, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a parking garage.
**As of September 19, 2024 project has not been awarded , Anticipated award date is on September 24, 2024** Work to be performed includes, but is not limited to Installation of agency agency-furnished Parking Access and Revenue Control System (PARCS), Automated Parking Guidance System (APGS), and Electrical Vehicle Charging Stations (EVCS). The Contractor shall commence the physical start of work by April 14, 2025, inside the garage and May 1, 2025, for work outside the garage. 1. Milestone #1: Substantial Completion of the PARCS Installation and Acceptance Testing (in accordance with Section 9.8 of the Special Provisions) by May 23, 2025. 2. Milestone #2: Substantial Completion of the APGS Installation and Acceptance Testing (in accordance with Section 9.8 of the Special Provisions) by June 20, 2025. 3. Milestone #3: Substantial Completion of the EVCS Installation and Acceptance Testing (in accordance with Section 9.8 of the Special Provisions) by July 11, 2025. 4. Final Completion by July 31, 2025. Liquidated damage in the amount of $500 per day will be assessed for time over 21 days. Each Bid must be accompanied by cash, a certified or cashier's check, or a bond in the sum of not less than ten percent (10%) of the total aggregate of the Bid price, including all additive Bid items, as required in the Instructions to Bidders. Contract Bonds required as prescribed in this Section 3 of the Standard Specifications, as modified by the Special Provisions and Contract Documents, shall include a Performance Bond equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the amount of the Agreement, and a Payment Bond equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Agreement, and any other bonds, including any Maintenance and Warranty Bond, as may be required by the City. The form of the Performance Bond (Document 00620) and the Payment Bond (Document 00610) to be provided by the successful Bidder are included within the Bid Documents.
