Project consists of providing material to replace one (1) existing box culvert, in Waupaca County on CTH O over Little Creek. Waupaca County Highway Department crews will be excavating and installing the culvert. The bid price shall include a new unassembled structure designed for HL-93 loadings and ALBC Express Foundations. Bid price will include all hardware and shall also be provided to assemble the designed structure when the structure is delivered. The Highway Committee reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to accept any bid that may be most advantageous to Waupaca County. Most advantageous includes a performance comparison of the material with any like or similar type of material; a comparison of the manufacturer's and contractors' ability and reputation for prompt delivery. Waupaca County Highway shall be responsible for unloading of truck, construction excavation, installation of the footings and structure and backfill. Sheet piling will be installed by others. All other project materials to be provided by Waupaca County Highway Department. Any exclusion of items that may incur an additional cost to the County must be disclosed. Construction is anticipated to take place in August of 2024. Bid envelopes must be sealed and marked as "Aluminum Box Culvert CTH O" and must include a completed "Aluminum Box Culvert CTH O" Bid Proposal Form.
