Competitive Sealed Proposal, Bid, Qualifications dear Prospective Engineering Firm: The Grande Ronde Model Watershed (Grmw), In Conjunction With The Oregon Department Of Fish And Wildlife (Odfw), Seeks The Services Of An Engineering Design Firm With Experience In River Restoration To Design The Bear Creek Fish Habitat Restoration Project In Northeast Oregon. The Request For Proposal (Rfp) Describes The Services To Be Provided That Includes Project Management For All Contracted Engineering Services, Site Visits, Surveys, Data Collection, Hydraulic Analysis, And Design Review Meetings At Each Stage Of The Process. The Final Product Will Include A Fully Designed And Stamped Construction Plan With All Necessary Construction Protocols.
The Hired Engineering Firm Shall Develop The Design To Include Stream Restoration Elements That Address The Limiting Factors For All Life Stages Of Chinook Salmon, Steelhead, Bull Trout, And Other Native Species Within The Project Reach. The Habitat Improvement Program (Hipiv), Programmatic Biological Opinion Will Be The Conservation Measures Used For Project Review And Eventual Implementation. The Hired Engineering Firm Shall Work Closely With The Odfw's Technical Representatives To Complete The Project. Frequent And Open Communication, Including Progress Meetings Are Required.
