El Paso County Hospital District d/b/a University Medical Center of El Paso has partnered with Bonfire Interactive to create a new procurement portal that will allow you to receive notifications of business opportunities and submit bids/proposals to University Medical Center of El Paso digitally. The purpose of this Request for Proposal is for the selection of a Contractor on behalf of EL PASO COUNTY HOSPITAL DISTRICT d/b/a UNIVERSITY MEDICAL CENTER OF EL PASO, (hereinafter UMC). The Contractor will be responsible for fabrication and installation of the interior signage and wayfinding for El Paso Children's Hospital 8th Floor Tenant Bulild-Out (the Project) located at 4815 Alberta, El Paso, Texas 79905. Refer to Exhibit B Scope of Work. The selection of the firm will be at the sole discretion of UMC about which Offeror's Proposal provides the best value to UMC based on the evaluation factors set forth in Section 4 herein. Guaranty Bonds. Each Proposal must be accompanied by the Surety Company Bond, Cashier's Check, or a bank Certified Check, in the sum of not less than Five Percent (5%) of the maximum Proposal Amount, payable to University Medical Center of El Paso, with the understanding that the Offeror will not withdraw his Proposal for a period of thirty (30) day after the dates set for the Owner receipt of Proposals on the project. These bonds shall be with a company satisfactory to the Owner, and shall be accompanied by the Surety Power of Attorney. The Payment and Performance Bond shall be executed on a form approved by the Owner. The Contract shall not become binding and effective until these bonds and Powers of Attorney are approved by the Owner. The El Paso County Hospital District reserves the right to accept or reject any or all parts of any response for any reason whatsoever. The Hospital District further reserves the right to reject any and/or all responses.
