Waterman Rd Paving Contract: Furnish and place approx. 1587 ton of 19mm Asphalt Binder, Fine Graded and approx. 231 ton of 2A Aggregate. Sealed bids must be submitted on forms furnished by the township and include a Bid Bond in the amount of 10% of the contract. Performance bond and Payment bond in the amount of 100% of the contract as well as proof of workers compensation insurance will be required within 20 days of receiving notice of being awarded the contract. The Township reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any technicality or formality within. 19MM ASPHALT BINDER COURSE, FINE GRADED Superpave Asphalt Mixture Design, 19 mm, PG 64S-22, Asphalt Binder Course < 0.3 ESAL’s, SRL-Any, Fine Graded at locations specified above. Furnish and place compacted asphalt binder course materials across entire cross-section of roadway at a uniform depth as required (depths and respective locations shown above), using full width paving equipment when possible to avoid joints in the finished pavement. Completed pavement should provide sufficient cross-slope (approximately 2.0%) to maintain positive drainage throughout construction and positive drainage into all existing inlets or off roadway.
