Renovation of a laboratory facility in Worcester, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a laboratory facility.
Any questions by prospective Bidders concerning interpretation of the Contract Documents must be submitted in writing to the Awarding Authority and should be in its possession at least five (5) working days before the date set for the receipt of general Bids. The Work consists of the Work identified in the Contract Documents. The Work comprises the completed construction required by the Contract Documents and includes all labor, tools, materials, supplies, equipment, permits, approvals, paperwork, calculations, submittals, and certificates necessary to develop, construct and complete the Work in accordance with all Laws, and all construction and other services required to be supervised, overseen, performed or furnished by Contractor or that the Contract Documents require the Contractor to cause to be supervised, overseen, performed or furnished. The Contractor shall provide andperform for the Contract Price all of the duties and obligations set forth in the Contract Documents. The Project involves laboratory improvements and mechanical/electrical/plumbing upgrades to accommodate the installation of a new Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) unit on the University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School campus. Contractor Qualification DCAMM Certificate Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000.
