As of September 12, 2024, project is awarded to Northwest Georgia Paving, Inc., with bid amount of $393,995.75. The scope of work for this project shall consist of resurfacing with asphalt on various city streets listed in the LMIG Project Report contained in the bid documents for this project. All work will be done in accordance with the 2023 standard specifications from the Georgia Department of Transportation, the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices, and by the special provisions contained in the bid documents for this project. The City of Calhoun personnel will be supervising construction of this project. The City of Calhoun is requesting sealed bids for asphalt resurfacing and stripping of various city streets, Resurfacing Approximately 30,274.11 square yards of city streets in the city of Calhoun, Georgia.
