Question Deadline 07/10/2024 Prince William County (the County or PWC) is soliciting proposals for professional engineering design services from qualified consulting engineers (Consultant) to prepare engineering design plans for the Van Buren Road North Extension roadway improvements project (Project) from Dumfries Road (Route 234) to Cardinal Drive (Route 610). The Consultant shall perform complete roadway/transportation facility design for the proposed Van Buren Road corridor between Route 234 and Cardinal Drive, and associated improvements to implement the improvements. The proposed four-lane divided roadway will have two 12-foot lanes in each direction, a 10-foot shared use path generally adjacent to southbound lanes, and a 5-foot concrete sidewalk generally adjacent to the northbound lanes. Project scope includes improving, extending, widening, realigning, designing traffic signals on existing roadways or newly proposed roads, design of shared use paths, sidewalks, roadway lighting design.
