Demolition, site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Port Lavaca, Texas. Completed plans call for the demolition of a sidewalk / parking lot; for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
This project consists of a Base Bid for the demolition and construction of approximately 26,000 square yards of concrete parking lot at the Calhoun County ISD High School, and two (2) additive Alternate Bids for the demolition and construction of approximately 150 square yards and approximately 1,650 square yards, respectively, of concrete parking lot at the Calhoun County ISD High School in Port Lavaca, Texas. Bidders must submit a bid bond, cashier's or certified check payable without recourse to the order of the Calhoun County ISD, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the bid submitted as a guarantee that the Bidder will enter into a contract and execute bonds and guarantee in the forms provided within fifteen (15) days after Notice of Award of contract to him. Bids submitted without the required security will not be considered. The successful Bidder will be required to purchase and furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, each in the amount of the contract, written by a responsible surety company, authorized to do business in the State of Texas, as required by Article 5160, V.A.T.C.S., as amended by H.B. 344, passed by the 56th Legislature, Regular Session, 1959.
