Renovation of an educational facility in Columbia, South Carolina. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

The University is issuing this Request for Proposals to invite firms to propose a solution to finance, develop, and operate a variety of private commercial operations on approximately 12 acres of property proximate to Williams-Brice Stadium; and approximately 885 acres of undeveloped property along the Congaree River and at the west end of National Guard Road west of the existing Football Operations Facility and Gamecock Park. These properties, which are owned and controlled by the University, are collectively referred to herein as the "River District Properties". This initiative would improve undeveloped and under-developed properties currently owned and/or controlled by the University. The property will be made available to a development entity through a long-term ground-lease of this property. Revenue generated by the development will be shared with the University to fund the design and construction of other significant university improvements to athletics facilities to dramatically improve the gameday experience while also expanding the annual use of the Williams-Brice stadium for additional revenue generating activities.
