The work to be done under this contract consists of furnishing all necessary labor, materials and equipment required for the improvement of the High Street and South Main Street drainage system, and the reconstruction of the roadway. The work includes removing portions of the existing drainage system and replacing it with new corrugated plastic drain pipe, riprap, excavation, milling and resurfacing, geometric improvements, wetland restoration and replication, installation of guardrail, signing, pavement markings and the provision of safety controls and signing for construction operations and other incidental items included in the contract documents necessary to complete the Project. Town of Uxbridge South Main Street & High Street Drainage Replacement. The work in this contract includes, but is not limited to, the replacement of the drainage system on High and South Main Street. Work required for this replacement includes: Removal of 17 drain structures and 500 feet of drain pipe, Installation of 18 drain manholes and 20 catch basins, Installation of approximately 360 feet of 12" HDPE pipe, 1100 feet of 18" HDPE pipe, and 900 feet of 24" HDPE, along with other related civil / site work.
