Site work and new construction of an educational facility in Vancouver, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the construction of a 6,308-square-foot, one-story above grade educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.
UBC Properties Trust is pleased to request proposals for Pre Construction and Construction Management Services for the new Farm Centre at the Vancouver campus. The Centre for Sustainable Food Systems (CSFS) is a teaching and research Centre and local-to-global food hub at UBC Farm working towards a more sustainable, food-secure future. The new Farm Centre will bring together a number of 'indoor' activities at the Farm under one roof to cultivate a sense of sharing - of both ideas and culture - and help germinate a community around food. A Construction Manager will be engaged during the Schematic Design phase. The Design Team is expected to work collaboratively with the Construction Manager throughout all stages of design. This is to ensure the design adheres to the project budget and schedule. In the first instance, receive all questions in writing by the Owner or Trade Contractors for interpretations and findings relating to the performance of the Work or the interpretation of the trade contract documents except with respect to financing information required of the Owner
