Site work and renovation of a mixed-use development in Corpus Christi, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a detention facility; municipal facility; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

The scope of work for the following: o Base Bid Nueces County Courthouse to include Units 1,2,3 and 4 o Additive #1 Mechanical Room and Old Jail Units 5 and 6 o Additive #2 New Jail The work involved under this Contract consists of furnishing all materials, labor, equipment, transportation, service, and all labor and superintendence necessary for the construction and completion of the Nueces County Courthouse and Jail Facility Improvements - Sanitary Drain, Waste, and Vent Renovations including but not limited to the following items: It is the intent of this project to remove the existing cast iron sanitary drain, waste, and vent piping including but not limited to laterals, risers, fittings, cleanouts, tees, ells, wyes and other associated appurtenances related and replace with new cast iron piping, fittings, and pipe support replacements. The piping support hangers shall be replaced where they are damaged. Assume a minimum of 10% of the pipe hangers require replacement; assume interval of support at 15 ft centers on pipe hanger placement. New floor support pipe clamps at each floor penetration of plumbing risers shall be provided. Question Deadline 07/31/2024 at 5:00 PM CT Questions must be submitted via electronically. A Bid Bond, either in the form of a certified or cashier's check or bid bond, in the amount of at least five percent (5%) of the largest amount bid must accompany each bid submittal. Upon Conditional Selection, the selected Bidder shall furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, as required by law, each in the amount of the full contract price, and each in the form promulgated by the County. Such bonds must be written by a company, or companies, acceptable to and approved by the County. The County will not accept a bond written by any company that does not meet all following requirements. Bidder agrees that if his/her Bid is accepted by the County, he will complete all work called for under the Contract Documents on or before 180 calendar days after the date of the Notice to Proceed for the Base Bid; an additional 120 calendar days to the Base Bid for the Additive No. 1; an additional 180 calendar days to the Base Bid for the Additive No. 2, and if the work is not completed by such time, he/she agrees to pay to the County as liquidated damages, the sum of One Thousand Dollars and no/100 ($1,000.00) for each calendar day after such time that the work remains incomplete, calculated in accordance with the provisions of the Contract Documents. Bidder agrees that he/she will not withdraw his/her Bid for a period of thirty (30) days from the date scheduled for the opening bids as set forth in the Instruction to Bidders.
