Proposing firms are expected to visit the project site(s) and use both the Pre-Bid Conference, Invitation to Bid and the written inquiry opportunities to obtain sufficient information to prepare a competitive bid. A Bid Guarantee in an amount equal to 5% of the total Bid amount is required at the time of the Bid Opening. The Guarantee must be a certified check payable to the Town of Estes Park or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder. If awarded the Bid, a Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Payment Bond are required within ten (10) days of the date of the written Notice of Award, each for the total amount of the Contract Price.
