Summary Provide Labor and materials to Retro fit existing belt driven blower assembly in existing Air Handler#3 QE building Contractor shall provide all necessary labor, equipment, and materials to remove and replace existing blower assemble with direct drive Plenum Fan Arry. All work shall be performed during normal work hours. Work shall include as follows o Turnkey Installation (1) new duel direct-driven plenum fan array. o Provide and install necessary Permanent Magnet Motors fans estimated (2) 5HP motors including any additional mounting materials as necessary. o Provide necessary fan Arry to provide the same CFM as existing belt drive fan assembly. o Provide individual fan back draft damper for each motor. o Provide Heavy gauge galvanized steel panel minimum 18 gauge. o Provide single point Power and controls with service disconnect and by-pass. o Provide NEMA 3R enclosed Variable Speed Drives per motors. o Provide factory drive start-up and test results to owner. o Remove existing blower assembly and turn motor over to owner. o All DDC of Drive and motor will be performed by owner. o Provide testing, adjustment and balancing of newly installed fan array. o All duct work related to installation of fan wall shall be connection and sealed properly AHU-2 Retrofit Description: The Medical University of South Carolina, Dept. of Engineering and Facilities is requesting quotes for an AHU-2 Fan Retrofit.
