Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Wallingford, Connecticut. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
This item shall consist of all work necessary for the movement of personnel and equipment to other or alternate work sites and all other facilities necessary for the performance of the work. As the Town's sidewalk repair contractor, you the Contractor, may be directed to permanently repair sidewalk, curb or driveway aprons outside of the anticipated work area, particularly when the Town calls bond monies from a private entity who has not completed such public improvements. When directed to make permanent repairs outside of the Contract Area (Zone 13), the Contractor may charge the town a fee for mobilization to this alternate location This "Mobilization to Alternate Location" fee shall be on a per each fee basis in the Contractor's bid proposal. This item is only to be used for permanent sidewalk repairs, not for Temporary Bituminous Concrete Sidewalk Repair under Item #1. The Town is seeking a qualified and competent sidewalk, curb and paving contractor possessing the necessary and appropriate equipment, and experience to perform sidewalk and repairs and incidental work at various locations in the Town of Wallingford.
