The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, vehicles, supervision, and services necessary to perform mold remediation on Joint Base Andrews (JBA) Building 1539, rooms 12, and 19. This service includes an initial inspection and assessment to identify the mold type and moisture sources, followed by the implementation of a targeted remediation plan. The reason for the extension is to allow vendors additional time to review Q&A and photos. Q&A will be attached to solicitation as an attachment named Questions and Answers and Photos. Building 1539 at Joint Base Andrews requires mold cleaning and removal of infected materials to prevent the spread to other areas within the building. Military personnel are neither trained nor equipped to handle this issue, making a contract with a professional remediation service the best method to address this short-term problem effectively.
