Site work, paving and outdoor lighting for a mixed-use development in Olean, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for outdoor lighting for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; swimming pool; and water / sewer project.

The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informalities therein. All insurance required by the Contract to be purchased and maintained by Owner or Contractor shall be obtained from insurance companies that are duly licensed or authorized, in the state or jurisdiction in which the Project is located, to issue insurance policies for the required limits and coverages. Unless a different standard is indicated in the Supplementary Conditions, all companies that provide insurance policies required under this Contract shall have an A.M. Best rating of A-VII or better. The prevailing wage rates of the State of New York apply to this contract as do any requirements of the State of New York associated with the use of these State Prevailing wages. The War Veterans Park Splashpad will require work to be performed both inside and outside the recreation center. Outside work will be within the area to the south of the existing pool deck. Inside work will be within the existing mechanical rooms and electrical room. Both areas will require demolition and installation of new materials as well as protection of existing facilities Install new water service after the existing RPZ and install a water meter; Install electrical feeder. Install protective construction fencing and appropriate signage to close asphalt trail to pedestrians Remove trees as designated in plans; Remove portion of existing concrete sidewalk; Partial removal of existing electrical conduit within project area; Remove existing light poles within project area; Grade site to achieve proposed elevations; Excavate for foundation of new equipment building, water containment system and debris trap Each bid must be accompanied by a certified bank check or bid bond from a domestic carrier licensed to do business in the State of New York in the amount of not less than five (5%) of the amount of the bid submitted. The successful bidder will be required to furnish Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bonds written by firms licensed to do business in New York State, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amounts in accordance with the provisions of the Contract Document Question Deadline 07/03/2024 at 5:00 PM ET
