The Project includes: modifications to and structural rehabilitation of an existing 35-foot high concrete gravity dam; post-tensioned anchors; prestressed anchors; removal of existing deteriorated concrete; concrete overlay system; concrete slurry wall construction; pre-engineered truss bridge over spillway; replacement of gatehouse structure; aluminum framing and grating; aluminum railing; cylindrical wedge-wire intake screens with airburst cleaning system; water piping, valves and gates; replacement of existing 100-amp electric service; and related site work. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract: Contract No. 1 - General, which includes all work. Bids shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis, as indicated in the Bid Form. Owner anticipates obtaining financial assistance for the Project from the New York State Environmental Facilities Corporation (NYSEFC) under the New York State Water Infrastructure Improvements Act (WIIA) Grants Program. Requirements of the Contractor, including EEO, MWBE and SDVOB requirements, are included in the Supplementary Conditions.
