As of August 6, 2024 this project was awarded to Birnam Excavating Ltd. with the awarded amount of $2,544,518.91 The work consists generally of the supplying of materials, labour, and equipment for the construction of the Watermain Rehabilitation, including: Construction of approximately 2,350 m of 300mm watermain from West Corner Drive to Ailsa Craig Main Street, including branch connections to side streets, all service connections, and appurtenances, complete. Rehabilitation of concrete curbs and asphalt pavement on Queen Street between Ailsa Craig Main Street to 70m north of Church Street. Construction of a new sidewalk on the east side of Queen Street between Ailsa Craig Main Street to 70m north of Church Street.
