John J. Jojo, 63, is retiring after 28 years with the firm. He worked on designs for many school districts, including overseeing nearly $200 million in construction at the Shenendehowa Central School District in Clifton Park. Matt Gaspary, 48, who started at the firm 23 years ago while in his last year as an architecture student at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, will become a principal in January 2025. He currently manages projects for the Saratoga Springs City School District and Glens Falls City School District. Gaspary has served as an associate principal. He looks forward to continuing to mentor younger members of the 40-person staff (14 to 15 are licensed architects). Located in the historic Frear Building downtown, Mosaic Associates specializes in designing educational facilities. Total billings last year were $10.1 million. Among its largest current projects are upgrades to every building in the Saratoga Springs City School District, an 18,000-square-foot child care center at RPI and the conversion of a large office building in Clifton Park into full-day kindergarten classrooms. The firm's other principals are John A. Onderdonk, Theresa F. Moroukian and Callie L. Gaspary (she and Matt are married). Founded 150 years ago, Mosaic Associates Architects was previously called Do-dge Chamberlin Luzine Weber Associates.
