The Project shall be initiated after August 1st, 2024 and be completed by or before November 30, 2024. Hoelzel Park Invasive Removal Project 2024 This project will consist of the removal and remediation of invasives plants from approximately 3.8 acres of natural area in Hoelzel Park (Exhibit A). 1. Prior to beginning work, notify the appropriate municipal contact when work starts and when work is ready for inspection. 2. Contractor will document and submit to Beyond Housing all minority employee hours on Hoelzel Park Invasive Removal Project. 3. Physically remove invasive honey suckle species from the project area and dispose of offsite. 4. Maintain a neat, orderly, and safe worksite at all times. This includes erection of roadblocks as necessary. Closure or partial closure of streets or trails shall be coordinated with the respective municipality. Signs notifying the public of worksites and pesticide application areas are required. 5. Promptly remove all equipment, trash, and materials from each site upon completion. 6. Restore all public improvements (grass, sidewalks, etc.) to pre-work conditions. The contractor is responsible for any damage to adjacent public or private property resulting from their activities. 7. All work must follow industry standards for best practices regarding invasive removal and pesticide application. 8. Follow all relevant safety guidelines, rules and regulations as stated in the ANSI Z133 9. Reasonably Protect all streams and stream banks from equipment and erosion 10. Observe all tree protection zones that may be established by the City of Normandy and Beyond Housing
