SCOPE OF SERVICES Provide all necessary materials, labor, and equipment to complete the installation of new asphalt shingles on the Old Library Building as follows: 1. Remove existing roofing to bare wood and load it into a roll-off container located on site. The Town of Westbrook will bear the cost of container removal. 2.Remove the existing roof 3.Inspect the entire roof deck for rot and/or deterioration. 4.Replace plywood as necessary using 1/2 ", 4-ply CDX exterior grade plywood. Include cost per sheet, including installation of the Bid Response sheet (Attachment A). 5.Install new aluminum drip edge to all rake and drip edges. The color shall be white. 6.Adhere ice and water barrier membrane to 100% of the exposed roof area. 7.Supply and install new GAF Timberline HD lifetime architectural shingles, or equal, with stainless steel nails. 8.Install new neoprene flashing to all plumbing pipes. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond payable to the Town for ten (10%) percent of the total amount of the proposal. The Town will return the bond of all except the successful bidder. The bond of the successful bidder will be retained until the execution of the contract, at which time the Town shall return the bid security to the successful bidder Two (2) copies of the Form of General bid (Attachment A) shall be submitted.
