Renovation of a residential development in Grand Island, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.

As of August 30, 2024, the project was awarded to Home Medical Supply, with an awarded amount of $20,739.52. Fixed Ceiling Lift Installation Installation of Fixed Lifts and Tracking at 1360 Baseline Rd. Grand Island, NY 14072 as follows: One 10x12 XY Gantry system with a fixed lift installed in Bedroom 3 One 18' Straight track with fixed lift installed in Bedroom 4 One 10x10 XY Gantry with fixed lift installed in Bedroom 2 Question Deadline: 07/15/2024 , Please email all questions to Bids@ArcErieCounty.org . Work to be completed: by 9/24/2024 1. Ensure measurements are appropriate during site tour for the job. The above is an estimate. 2. Include any required relocation of light fixtures, HVAC equipment, fire sprinklers, etc. 3. Work in cooperation with our maintenance team regarding power sources, installation, etc. 4. Daily removal and disposal of all construction debris, etc., to off-site containers. No construction debris permitted in on-site dumpsters or trash bins. 5. All work performed shall meet all building and fire codes adopted by local and regional municipalities. 6. Work hours: ~7:30am to 3:30pm (Alternative time periods including nights and weekends will be considered upon request.) Some projects are required to be completed during off hours due to program usage. 7. Provide temporary protection during the project as necessary, i.e., hang plastic tarps for dust control. Arc staff may inspect the site after every workday for safety issues. 8. Use of site: Materials, supplies and tools must be secure during non-work times. Areas for storage will be provided to you at a location to be determined. Use only the designated door for access. This will be communicated to you at the start of the project. All doors on the property must be usable for fire egress at the end of every workday. 9. For basic questions, see house staff; but contact the Project Manager for any changes to the specifications, drawings or these General Conditions. Owner will provide Hazardous Materials Report. Owner is responsible for hazardous material testing and removal. 10. Any unforeseen circumstance that may compromise the health and safety of staff and those we serve should be communicated immediately to the Project Manager or Director of Property Management so appropriate arrangements can be made. 11. Bidders will submit with their bid three (3) customer references from similar projects recently completed. 12. Please additionally include the warranty information regarding the lift equipment, make and model. 13. The Arc Erie County New York is a Tax-Exempt organization. Do not include tax in your bid(s). A tax-exempt certificate will be provided to the successful bidder. 14. Insurance - the minimum insurance coverage and limits that shall be continuously maintained by the contractor and sub-contractors while providing, performing or completing the work are as follows: a. General Liability. The contractor shall carry a comprehensive Commercial General Liability umbrella policy for all operations with limits not less than $1,000,000 each occurrence and $2,000,000 aggregate. b. Worker's Compensation. The contractor is required to carry, with a company authorized under the laws of the State of New York, a policy for protection against liability under the Worker's Compensation Statutes of the State of New York. c. Business Auto Liability Insurance. The contractor shall carry a minimum of $1,000,000 for each accident. d. The bidder shall certify in its bid submission that it will carry the required coverage. 15. It shall be the responsibility of the vendor to thoroughly read and understand the information, instructions, and the scope of services contained in this RFP. Vendors are expected to fully inform themselves as to the conditions and requirements of the services to be provided. Failure to do so is at the vendor's own risk. 16. Payments: One third (1/3) of the total approved bid quote can be invoiced as the initial project deposit. Project balance will be paid 30 days after job inspection and approval. 17. Work is to be completed by 9/24/2024.
