The City of Klamath Falls as sponsor of a public use airport facility is soliciting Statements of Qualifications and Experience for professional services at the Crater Lake - Klamath Regional Airport. Services anticipated include architect-engineering services related to three buildings on Air National Guard leased premises needing lightning protection and fire suppression upgrades. The project is to upgrade the existing lightning protection and fire protection systems in building 333, 400 and hangar 219, at the Kingsley Field Air National Guard (ANG) Base on the Crater Lake - Klamath Regional Airport. Building 333 is an aircraft fuels maintenance facility and consists of one hanger bay. Building 400 has four (4) 1-aircraft bays for storage and maintenance of aircraft assigned to the 173rd Fighter Wing. Hangar 219 is the primary phase hangar that can store up to 10 aircraft. B219 is a primarily wood structure, meaning the facility is even more vulnerable to fires than facilities constructed with concrete or steel. General description of firm: Include company organizational structure, company history and background, size of company, recent experience in comparable airport/aviation projects in a similar environment, experience with federal government projects.
