Roof Repair Repair roofing membrane for approximate 7,000 Square feetThis is a wood deck roof system Torch down prohibited. The vendor shall provide all labor and materials necessary to complete the work in a professional manner according to scope of work and architectural drawings if supplied. Work is to be completed within 30 days of award, unless modified below. All Contractor permits to be supplied prior to initiation of Project. Refer to attached specification for the following scope of work. Site must be cleaned, and all materials secured at the end of each work day. Absolutely no scraps, especially fasteners, are to be left unsecured. Upon completion of project, before removal of equipment and scaffolding, contractor is to schedule a quality control and quality assurance inspection with Plant Superintendent. SCOPE OF WORK includes, but is not necessarily limited to the following: 1. Remove any and all water and debris from roofing prior to and work being performed. 2. Build up areas of low pitch and/or slope with extra material as required. 3. All areas towards drain must be sloped for proper drainage to roof drain basins 4. Repair all blisters with 3 pressure plates and #4-#6 screws as needed. 5. Apply Firestone SBS White granular rubber membrane on the entire flat roof including the parapets up to 1 1/2 feet with Karnak 66 Modified Bitumen adhesive. 6. Apply Karnaflex elastomeric flashing cement on all penetrations. 7. Install and or encapsulate, repair all pitch pockets as necessary. 8. Clean up and removal of all debris to be done daily. OPWDD's Staten Island DDSO - IBR intends to procure service to repair approximately 7,000 Sq Ft. of roof (per the attached scope of work) pursuant to its discretionary purchasing authority under State Finance Law 163(6) Any vendor questions not asked during the site visit must be submitted in writing to: Brooklyn.CMM.Bids@opwdd.ny.gov (within two business days of the site visit: July 16, 2024). Both questions and answers (if any) will be provided to all who attend the site visit via email by: July 19, 2024. This is a NYS Public Works Project and Prevailing Wages MUST be paid.
