The goal of this project is to install an energy dashboard that collects trend logs from up to 75 buildings, for the purposes of calculating the energy savings obtained through an energy performance contract underway at CFB Halifax. Example projects include new HVAC or changes to the way in which the HVAC is being operated. The energy dashboard will collect trends such as equipment run status, VFD speeds, temperature sensors, flow sensors, and other hardcoded values such as equipment efficiencies, heating degree days, motor kW, etc. in order to calculate the energy saved in specific building systems following the implementation of energy saving measures. There are two existing servers that store the trend logs, one consists of an Alerton BACnet server (operating Compass software), and the other a Schneider BACnet server. The new energy dashboard must be a BACnet compatible product that is capable of discovering and integrating with the existing servers, ingest the required BACnet points, and perform calculations within the new energy dashboard for the purposes of calculating energy consumption in various units (i.e. kWh, BTU, m3 of gas, dollars saved, etc.). Note that only on-premises solutions will be accepted (i.e. no cloud-based solutions). No remote access will be provided at any time for installation or updates. If hardware is required, solutions must have no wireless connectivity available (hardwired points only). The scope of work shall be based on 75 buildings comprising up to 500 measures and 3750 Points, which will consist of points such as, but not limited to, equipment run status, temperatures, damper positions, VFD speeds, CO2 sensors, humidity sensors, and data from electricity meters such as kWh and kW. All data can be assumed to be BACnet points. Virtual meters will be programmed within the new dashboard, using the trended data along with hardcoded variables such as heating degree days, flow rates, motor kW, and other factors to calculate units of energy consumption. Provide a weekly and monthly totalizer for each virtual meter and display this on the web Ul graphics within summary pages. Energy dashboard shall be capable of storing three years worth of data.
