The Office of the Fire Marshal, within the Department of Community & Government Services, is responsible for the installation and maintenance of all community fire department high pressure breathing air compressor systems cross the territory. The Office of the Fire Marshal recognizes the specialized implementation requirements pertaining to community fire department high pressure breathing air compressor systems within Nunavut. Maintenance and testing of breathing air cascade compressor systems must be completed each year. This vital service ensures that fire fighters can protect themselves while they provide life-saving fire service to the community in nearly all-hazard conditions. Therefore, this RFP addresses the GN OFM requirement for annual maintenance, testing and training services for Nunavut Community Fire Department High Pressure Breathing Air Filling Stations.
