Site work and renovation of a civil project in Sandy, Utah. Completed plans call for the renovation of a road / highway; for site work for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.

The Work of this Contract comprises the construction of repairs to the existing Southwest Groundwater Treatment Plant Finished Water Reservoir. The Work generally includes concrete crack repairs and placement of lightweight cellular concrete to add slope to the existing reservoir deck; installation of roofing membrane and traffic pad; installation of metal ladders, guardrail, and exterior metal stairs and platform; modifications to existing roof drain and downspout system; new concrete flat-work, restoration of disturbed areas, and all other appurtenant work. SITE OF WORK: The Work is located at the Southwest Groundwater Treatment Plant, immediately east of the Jordan Valley Water Conservancy District office (8215 S 1300 W, West Jordan, Utah) as shown in the Drawings. CONTRACTOR QUALIFICATIONS: Bidders shall note that this project requires interested contractors to meet certain qualification standards in order for bids to be considered responsive. Bids that do not meet these requirements will not be considered for award. Refer to Instructions to Bidders for further information. COMPLETION OF WORK: All work shall be substantially completed by November 22, 2024, with final completion by January 6, 2025. AWARD OF CONTRACT: An Award of Contract, if it were awarded, will be made within 60 calendar days of the opening of bids. BID SECURITY: Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified or cashier's check, money order or bid bond in the amount of five percent of the total bid price payable to the Jordan Valley Water Conservancy District as a guarantee that the bidder, if its bid is accepted, will promptly execute the contract, provide evidence of worker's compensation insurance, and furnish a satisfactory faithful performance bond in the amount of 100 percent of the total bid price and a payment bond in the amount of 100 percent of the total bid price.
