Site work for a civil project in St Petersburg, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; and water / sewer project.

The Design-Build Firm should have experience in building pump stations, box culverts, and elevation adjustments to combat recurrent flooding. The City seeks experienced firms capable of executing a progressive design-build approach with adherence to clear design criteria and deliverables. The Design-Build Firm should also have Building Information Modeling ("BIM") experience and capabilities. The project location encompasses Connecticut Avenue from the intersection of Huntington Street NE to its eastern termination at Tampa Bay within the Shore Acres neighborhood of the City of St. Petersburg. Basin C Resiliency Salt Creek Outfall Pump Station (24101-130): This critical infrastructure project aims to mitigate flooding risks within Basin C (Lake Maggiore Basin) by constructing a pump station with approximately 145 million gallons per day (MGD) capacity and a 66-inch force main to discharge +-270 cubic feet per second (cfs). The selected firm should have experience in pump station construction, force main installation, and stormwater management systems. Additionally, Building Information Modeling (BIM) experience and capabilities are required. Basin C is located in the Southeast part of the City of St. Petersburg, Florida, covers an area of around 3,400 Acres and discharges into Salt Creek. The project area is bounded by interstate I-275 to the north, 62nd Avenue S to the south, 31st street S. to the East and W Bay Street. S to the West. Background Shore Acres Resiliency Infrastructure Project (22033-110): The project aims to improve stormwater conveyance capacity in the vicinity of Connecticut Avenue to mitigate recurrent flooding. Key elements include the construction of a stormwater pump station, installation of box culverts, abandonment of existing infrastructure, and roadway elevation adjustments. 2 Basin C Resiliency Salt Creek Outfall Pump Station (24101-130): The Basin C Resiliency Salt Creek Outfall Pump Station project aims to mitigate flooding risks within Basin C by constructing a pump station with significant capacity and a force main to discharge stormwater effectively. The selected alternative involves evaluating optimal operational conditions, assessing environmental impacts, acquiring necessary land, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The project location is in the southeast part of St. Petersburg, covering an area bounded by interstate I-275 to the north and 62nd Avenue S to the south. Question Deadline 07/30/2024 at 3:00 PM ET All questions must be submitted via City's online sourcing system Award The solicitation will be awarded based on the requirements outlined in the scope, the criteria or factors identified in the solicitation, and the standard for award for the solicitation. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all parts of the solicitation response, waive informalities, and request resolicitations on the services or products outlined in the scope. The City reserves the right to award the Agreement on a split-order, lump-sum, or individual item basis, or such combination as shall best serve the interest of the City unless otherwise specified. Pursuant to Florida Statute sec. 287.05701, the City will not request documentation of a Vendor's social, political, or ideological interests, consider such interests, or give preference to a vendor based on such interests. Rejection Rights The City reserves the right, at any time, to modify, waive or otherwise vary the terms and conditions of this RFQ including, but not limited to, the deadlines for submission and submission requirements. The City further reserves the right to reject any or all SOQ, to cancel or withdraw this RFQ at any time. Selection is dependent upon the negotiation of a mutually acceptable contract.
