As set forth in the plans and specifications, this project is to rehabilitate Oates Drive from Gus Thomasson Rd to N Galloway Avenue by localized full depth concrete repairs and asphalt mill and overlay. This project includes new pavement markings, this section of Oates Drive will also receive improvements to pedestrian facilities. Bidder must submit, with their Bid, a Cashier's check, Certified check or a Bid Bond from an approved surety company, in the amount of five percent (5%) of their Bid as a guarantee that the Bidder will enter into a contract and guarantee forms, if required, within 10 days after notice of award of contract. The successful bidder must furnish both a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price, from an approved Surety company holding a permit from the State of Texas to act as surety, and acceptable according to the latest list of companies holding Certificates of Authority from the Secretary of the Treasury of the United States, or another Surety acceptable to the City.
