Renovation of a residential development in Montgomery, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
The vendor shall provide all labor and materials necessary to complete the work in a professional manner according to scope of work and architectural drawings if supplied. Work is to be completed within 30 days of award, unless modified below. This is a NYS Public Works project and prevailing wages are to be paid. Refer to attached specification for the following scope of work. Site must be cleaned and all materials secured at the end of each work day. Absolutely no scraps, especially fasteners, are to be left unsecured. Upon completion of project, before removal of equipment and scaffolding, contractor is to schedule a quality control and quality assurance inspection with Plant Superintendent. Hudson Valley DDSO is requesting a quote for the following work: 1. Demo floor to subfloor, walls in shower area down to bare studs, remove vanity and toilet 2. 2 piece floor drains to be installed in kind(floor drain and bathtub drain) 3. Remove existing tub and shower body and install 30" x 60" barrier free shower pan 4. Replace toilet with new Gerber Viper 1.28gpf 12" rough-in two-piece compact elongated Ergoheight toilet in white 5. Replace shower body using T13420 Delta trim kit with Delta R10000 series valve body according to drawing 6. Epoxy floor a. Redgard waterproofing membrane to be applied on plywood subfloor b. Sherwin Williams 5115 mortar blend aggregate base, sloped to floor drains . Consult HVDDSO project manager before applying epoxy floor covering c d. Sherwin Williams Resuflor Aqua 3460 epoxy flooring to be applied on top of mortar base and 6 inches above finished floor along base of walls 7. Shower walls a. 1/2" Durock to be installed on wall studs b. Z-channel to be installed abutting lip of epoxy coating c. 1/4" Transolid rigid wall panels (5x8 sheets) to be supplied by HVDDSO and installed from z-channel to ceiling, as per manufacturer's specifications, using silicone to adhere panels to sheetrock and caulking at joints 8. Replace vanity in kind, including faucet and new supply and drain lines This is an RFQ. (request for quotes). This is not an IFB (bid). The Hudson Valley DDSO intends to award the contract to the most responsible and responsive vendor that provides the lowest cost and meets the requirements detailed in the scope of work. Upon request, vendor must demonstrate 2 years of relevant experience on prior projects of similar magnitude and its subject to vendor responsibility determination. Hudson Valley DDSO reserves the right to reject any and all quotes. In deciding whether to submit a quote, please be aware the awarded vendor must adhere to the time frames outlined in the scope of work. The awarded vendor will also be required to submit certificates of Liability Insurance and Worker's Compensation Insurance as well as completed Lobbying Law Forms, and signed Appendix A. Please be prepared to submit these in a timely fashion. The Hudson Valley DDSO will make no concessions to the vendorfor any alleged misunderstanding or deception because of quantity, quality, character, or other condition. The Hudson Valley DDSO's interpretation of specifications shall be final and binding. Please note, all staff working at the project site will be required to sign an attendance sheet for record purposes. This includes the residence visitor log and/or an attendance sheet provided by the Maintenance Department. In the event of a tie, contract will be awarded to the Contractor whose bid was received earliest.
