As of August 23, 2024 the owner is working with the low bid contractor to get the project within budget. The Project includes the following Work: Installation of three pressurized trenched drainfields, installation of approximately 1,400 feet of forcemain, replacement of lift station wetwells, pumps, controls, and valves, and associated items and restoration work. A. The owner will enter into a Contract to construct the Allouez Township Wastewater System Improvements, as described on the accompanying Project Plans and Specifications and briefly summarized as follows. 1. Wastewater system improvements include: a. Installation of three (3) proposed pressurized trenched drainfields with associated piping and valving. b. Forcemain installation. c. Liftstation pump and control replacements. d. Replacement of miscellaneous valves, wetwells, and associated items. A pre-bid conference for the Project will NOT be held. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The Bid Bond or certified check payable to Owner shall be in an amount no less than 5% of the maximum bid as a guarantee, that if the Bid is accepted, the Bidder will execute and file the Contract, Performance and Payment Bonds, and Insurance Certification, as required by the Contract Documents within (10) days after the Notice of Award. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all bids.
